We got another double dose of grand tours today and wow, the contrast couldn’t have been more stark. The Giro served up a giant wet blanket of a stage while la Vuelta featured an action-packed final 100-kilometers where Movistar ripped the race to shreds and spit multiple GC contenders out the back, ending their campaigns before they even began.
