Three Quick Thoughts: Strade Bianche
A few quick post-race thoughts from today's Strade Bianche
For the fourth time in five years, Tadej Pogačar rode clear of an elite group on the white gravel roads of Tuscany to win Strade Bianche by riding alone into the iconic Piazza del Campo in Siena. Behind, the only contender able to remotely challenge him was French teen sensation Paul Seixas, who put up an impressive fight to drop UAE’s Isaac del Toro to finish second. Below are a few quick thoughts about the ride before my full race breakdown on Monday.
Strade Bianche 2026 Top Five:
1) Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) +0
2) Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM Team) +1’00
3) Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) +1’09
4) Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ United) +2’04
