Stage 10. Put Gall in the break with Mc Nulty and watch Bora, Movistar and Soudal have to work to keep the break manageable. Yates and O'connor just stay on Roglic's wheel and watch the steady decline of domestiques leading out Soudal, Movistar and Bora.

Interesting scenario to think about. Decathlon don't have the stomach to risk leaving O'Connor without Gall, at least from what I know about them. Yates doesn't seem in it for the GC. The real disruptive move would be for Vlasov or Lipowitz to go in the break. That way Red Bull could force Decathlon to take control of the race. Nobody can control this Vuelta so far. That opening climb could be real dynamic tomorrow.

Decathlon have a upper hand, they are 4 minutes up! O'connor can just use other teams who don't want to lose GC standings to Gall. Liipowitz has to stay with Roglic, Bora have to preserve a podium spot they are weak on the climbs. Movistar and UAE can wait and pounce if Bora falters. McNulty can TT with Gall, the deal is Mcnulty takes the stage win and Gall moves up in GC. Easy peasy...

Deja vu, Wrong Stage, McNulty almost did it,hope he is okay after his crash.

Gall should ride his own GC today and for the rest of the Velta, otherwise Decathlon may not podium! O'Connor is not as gifted a climber as Gall.
